Effluent Water Treatment Plant

Effluent is defined by as "wastewater - treated or untreated - that flows out of a treatment plant, sewer, or industrial outfall. Generally refers to wastes discharged into surface waters". liquid waste or sewage discharged into a river or the sea". Effluent in the artificial sense is in general considered to be water pollution, such as the outflow from a sewage treatment facility or the wastewater discharge from industrial facilities. An effluent sump pump, for instance, pumps waste from toilets installed below a main sewage line. Similar to wastewater produced in different establishments, industries, and facilities. These wastewater released can also accumulate and pollute the nearby communities and bodies of water.

About Effluent Water Treatment

We complete believe that Industries build a country. It is very important to have manufacturing activities, as they not only put the country on an acceleration mode, but it also creates direct and indirect employment. But along with all the growth and development, one can ignore the environment. That’s where Effluent Treatment Plants come in. The Industrial Waste Water (Effluent), needs to be treated before it is disposed. Better still, if an industry can reuse this water. We at Dhara Water, have ETP’s across various industries like Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, R & D Centres, Construction etc. Depending upon the industry, and the Effluent, we specially customise every ETP to offer the best, comprehensive and concrete solution to our clients. We believe in the concept of ZERO DISCHARGE, and we can assist your industry to do so.

Effluent Treatment Plant or ETP is one type of waste water treatment method which is particularly designed to purify industrial waste water for its reuse and it’s aim is to release safe water to environment from the harmful effect caused by the effluent. Industrial effluents contain various materials, depending on the industry. Some effluents contain oils and grease, and some contain toxic materials (e.g., cyanide). Effluents from food and beverage factories contain degradable organic pollutants. Since industrial waste water contains a diversity of impurities and therefore specific treatment technology called ETP is required. The ETP Plant works at various levels and involves various physical, chemical, biological and membrane processes to treat waste water from different industrial sectors like chemicals, drugs, pharmaceutical, refineries, dairy, ready mix plants & textile etc.

Benefits of ETP

◉ To clean industry effluent and recycle it for further use

◉ To reduce the usage of fresh water in industries

◉ To preserve natural environment against pollution

◉ To meet the standards for emission of pollutants set by the Government & avoid heavy penalty

◉ To reduce expenditure on water acquisition
